I looked at your chart for clean air "in your community"....yeah, what does it mean when your county is NOT even on the list !?

I used to be very serious about air quality...when I lived in NJ where the folks are more environmentally aware, but then I moved to MISSOURI !  Here in this ""quaint"" little town of  about 12K  you can burn you trash right in your front yard...no ordinance; there is no regulation at all on commercial trash bins within the city limits...make all the stink/bacteria you want as long as you shut the hinged lid; It has only been since last autumn that there has been ""no  smoking"" in the hospital! There is a soy processing plant right here in town...about three blocks from City Hall and they are allowed to pump out all the smell and pollution they need to...just because ""they have been there  for years"" !   They even just this last year added an ethanol processing center IN TOWN.

So I ask you, how can I get serious about how much pollution my car exhausts?

Disgusted...
